ResearchMate is an educational platform for managing research work and connecting researchers with shared interests. By creating an account you agree to use the platform for legitimate academic collaboration.
You are responsible for your account credentials and for the accuracy of the information in your researcher profile. Impersonating another researcher is prohibited and leads to account removal.
You retain ownership of the research content you add (projects, tasks, notes, messages). You grant ResearchMate the limited rights needed to store and display that content to you and your chosen collaborators.
Invitation emails may only be sent to researchers you reasonably believe would welcome the collaboration. Passive researcher profiles are created for discoverability and can be claimed by their owners at any time.
No spam, harassment, scraping at scale, or attempts to disrupt the service. We may suspend accounts that violate these terms.
We may update these terms; significant changes will be announced in the app. Continued use after changes means acceptance.
